碩士班：12月1日至隔年5月31日
Master’s: December 1st to May 31st學士班及專班：12月1日至隔年6月30日

英語授課學程 (English-taught programs)
碩士班：英國語文系、國際事務系、國際企業管理系、法國語文系歐洲研究碩士班。
MA in English, International Affairs, International Business Administration, and MA in European Studies.學士班：英國語文系、國際事務系以及外語教學系。
BA in English, International Affairs, and BA in Foreign Language Instruction.中英雙語授課學程 (Bilingually-taught programs)
碩士班：翻譯系碩士班及法國語文系歐洲研究碩士班。
MA in Translation & Interpreting and MA in European Studies.學士班：翻譯系。
BA in Translation & Interpreting.語言要求 (Language requirements)
英語授課學程：英語能力檢定證明 CEFR B1 (含)以上 (英語母語人士或畢業於英語授課學程申請者可免)。
English-taught programs: CEFR B1 or above (English native speakers and those graduating from English-taught programs are exempted.) 英語為官方或通用語國家名單 List of countries...中文授課學程：華語文能力測驗 TOCFL A2 (含)以上。
Chinese-taught programs: TOCFL A2 or above.國際專班：應屆畢業生 TOCFL A1 (含)以上，非應屆畢業生 TOCFL A2 (含)以上。
International programs: TOCFL A1 for fresh high school graduates or A2 for the others.*翻譯系、應華系以及日文系語言要求請參閱公告之申請入學學年度招生簡章。
獎助學金 (Scholarships)
全額獎助學金 (Full Scholarships)：減免全額學費。
100% tuition waiver.半額獎助學金 (Half Scholarships)：減免半額學費。
50% tuition waiver.國際專班獎助學金 (International Program Scholarships)：
減免全額學費、減免半額學費、減免25%學費、減免20%學費以及減免15%學費。
Waivers of 100%, 50%, 25%, 20%, and 15%.
(限吳甦樂高中畢業生) 減免全額學費、免費學校宿舍住宿以及每學期1萬元學餐餐券。
Exclusive for Ursuline High School grads: 100% tuition waiver, free dorm, 10,000 NT meal vouchers.
入學前準備 Preparation Before Enrollment
1. 填寫錄取通知郵件提供之回覆同意錄取表單。
Click on the Google survey link provided in the admission notification email to reply and inform us of your accepting the admission.2. 回傳獎助學金同意書、校內宿舍住宿申請書、學歷證明文件聲明書以及個人證件大頭照。
The Acceptance of Wenzao’s Scholarship form, on-campus dormitory application form, and Academic Certificate Declaration form need to be uploaded as well.3. 申請入台學生簽證。如需紙本錄取通知書申請入台簽證，請來信告知。
Apply to Taiwan’s office in your region for a student visa. If a paper copy of your admission letter is needed, inform SOSA via email.4. 以錄取通知郵件所提供 Line 連結，加入文藻境外新生 Line 群組，後續入學及其他重要資訊將透過群組發送。
Join the Line group for the freshman overseas students of the year by using the invitation link / QR code in the admission notification email. Important info will be announced there.5. 取得入台學生簽證後，訂購來台機票。並填寫境外組提供 Google 表單，告知抵台日期及班機。
Once you have received your student visa, book your flight. Fill out the Google survey provided by SOSA to inform us of your arrival.6. 開學前參加新生說明會，繳交外館驗證學歷證書以及成績單。
The orientation will be held during the week before school starts. Attend the orientation, and submit verified diploma and transcripts.選課與學業 Course Selection
如何選課 (How to add/drop courses)
8月中前將提供入學新生學號。登入文藻外語大學資訊服務入口網站進行加退選課 (需使用學號及護照號碼)。
Student numbers provided before mid-August. Log in to Wenzao’s Information Service System with student number and passport number.何時選課 (When to add/drop courses)
入學新生可於 8月最後1周 進行第一次加退選課。
The 1st period for freshman students will be the last week of August.開學第一周 可做第2次加退選課。
The 1st week of semester will be the 2nd time to add or drop courses.⚠️ 英語授課學程學生通識抵免 (English-taught Programs)
所有學生皆須修習 12 學分校定必修通識課程。
1. 必修：每學期一門「全英深化通識課程」(Advanced and Interdisciplinary Course)。
2. 抵免：可選修通識中心公告之 EMI/ESP 課程，抵免剩下5門校定必修通識課程。
Students must take 1 "Advanced English Gen-Ed" every semester. Can waive the other 5 Mandarin Gen-Eds by taking approved EMI/ESP courses.中文課程 (Mandarin Courses)
英語授課學程學生可修「華語一」~「華語六」來取代3門全校共同必修中文課程。
English-taught program students can take “Mandarin 1” to “Mandarin 6” to replace the 3 required Mandarin Chinese courses.簽證與居留證 Visa & ARC
簽證類型 (Visa Types)
訪客簽證 (Visitor Visa)：適用於停留期間在 180 天以內的短期停留。效期為 60 天，可申請延長兩次。
Short-term visa (within 180 days). Usually valid for 60 days, extendable twice.居留簽證 (Resident Visa)：適用於停留期間超過 180 天的長期停留。
Long-term visa (more than 180 days).重要建議 (Recommendation)
我們建議停留超過一學期的學生在入境前先申請居留簽證，抵台後再申請居留證 (ARC)。如果先持訪客簽證入境後再轉換，費用將會較高。
We suggest students staying over one semester apply for a Resident Visa before entry, then apply for ARC. Changing from Visitor Visa later costs more.外僑居留證 (ARC)
用途：取得 ARC 後，學生即可開設銀行帳戶，並須加入全民健康保險。
With ARC, students can open a bank account and join NHI.
期限：持居留簽證入境者，須於抵台後 30天內 至移民署申請 ARC。
Must apply within 30 days of arrival.訪客簽證延期 (Visitor Visa Extension)
應於簽證上之【停留期限天數到期前15日之內】至移民署辦理簽證延長，總延期天數不得超過180天。
Apply for extension at the National Immigration Agency within the last 15 days before the visa expires. Total extension cannot exceed 180 days.保險與住宿 Insurance & Housing
健康保險 (Health Insurance)
1. 全民健保 (NHI)
費率：目前費率為一學期臺幣 $4956元 (826/月)。
Rate: TWD$4,956/semester (TWD $826/month).資格：持居留簽證入境起算滿6個月 (連續居住滿6個月，或曾出境1次未逾30日)。
Eligibility: Resident for 6 months (continuously, or one exit < 30 days).2. 團體醫療保險 (Group Medical Insurance)
費率：目前費率為一學期臺幣 $3000元 (500/月)。
Rate: TWD$3,000/semester (TWD $500/month).適用：還未符合健保資格之學生 (三商美邦人壽)。
For students not yet eligible for NHI.住宿 (Housing)
校內宿舍 (On-campus Dorm)
押金：NT$5,000.
*入住宿舍一學期以後如果想要搬離，保證金將會被沒收 (Deposit non-refundable if moving out after 1 semester).房型：4人房 (4 people per room). 門禁：23:00 ~ 06:30. 寒暑假：另付 NT$1,000/週 (Extra pay for winter/summer vacation). 餐費：不包含 (Meals not included).

關於科系分發，我們將您分發至相關科系是因為該系有專門負責國際學生的老師，可以為您提供更完善的協助。請放心，交換學生仍然可以自由選擇其他科系的課程，不會受到限制。

Q: 外國學生一定要有中文名字嗎？ (Is it mandatory to have a Chinese name?)
外國學生並非一定要有中文名字。然而，若您計畫在台灣開設銀行帳戶，我們建議您在申請外僑居留證（ARC）時一併登記中文名字。學生證則不需要中文名字。您也可以抵達台灣後再慢慢挑選一個有意義的中文名字，並與華語老師討論後決定。
Having a Chinese name is not required. However, if you plan to open a bank account, we recommend that you include a Chinese name when you apply for your ARC.學習志工服務/校園活動 (Volunteer & Activities)

我們在入學的第一年都會幫境外新生配對志工學伴，對於生活上或是學習上有相關問題都可以直接詢問志工學伴。
During the first year, we assign volunteer buddies. You can ask them directly for any questions.Q: 有關以語言交換作為服務時數的方式要怎麼進行? (Language Exchange Service)
基本上可以自行先找尋語言交換夥伴，並至國合處(OICC)找老師報名，會需要填寫紀錄表格，學期結束時可以帶著時數表至國合處(OICC)找老師進行認證。
Find a partner, register with OICC, fill out the record form, and get certified at the end of the semester.Q: 如何參加境外組(SOSA)辦的活動? (How to join SOSA activities?)
我們會將相關活動資訊內容發佈在 LINE 群組上，有興趣參加者需填妥報名資料，尤其是有關於外出要保險所需要的個資。
