About Wenzao

本校以培育具有專業知能、人文素養及健全人格之外語實用人才為宗旨。建校迄今五十餘年，培育出許多傑出的外語人才，備受各界肯定。設有英國語文系、法國語文系、德國語文系、西班牙語文系、日本語文系、應用華語文系、外語教學系、翻譯系、國際事務系、國際企業管理系、數位內容應用與管理系、傳播藝術系及東南亞學系等十三系。

Our school is dedicated to cultivating language professionals with expertise, humanistic qualities, and sound personalities. Over the past fifty years since its establishment, the school has nurtured numerous outstanding language talents, earning recognition from various sectors. We offer thirteen departments, including the Department of English, Department of French, Department of German, Department of Spanish, Department of Japanese, Department of Applied Chinese, Department of Foreign Language Instruction, Department of Translation and Interpreting, Department of International Affairs, Department of International Business Administration, Department of Digital Content Application and Management, Department of Communication Arts, and Department of Southeast Asian Studies.

本校招生學制有研究所、四技、二技及五專。另設有師資培育中心，提供研究所及大學部學生修讀國小師資教育學程。日間大學部四技各系學生須修習24個共同必修英文學分，亦可於雙主修、輔系及專業學程中擇一修習，藉以修習兩種以上專長。另亦有多種其他外語（韓文、泰文、越南文、印尼文、義大利文、俄文等）選修課程，可培養多語能力，增加就業競爭力。

Our school has a comprehensive admission and academics system that includes graduate programs, Four-Year college programs, Two-Year college programs, and Five-Year junior college programs. Additionally, the school’s Center for Teacher Education provides training programs for graduate and undergraduate students to become elementary school teachers.. Undergraduate students in four-year college programs in various departments are required to obtain 24 common English courses. They can also choose one of the double majors, minors, and professional programs to develop expertise in multiple areas. We also offer a variety of other foreign language elective courses (such as Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Italian, Russian, etc.) to enhance our students’ multilingual abilities and increase their competitiveness on the job market.

創校至今最具特色之教學是所有外語課程一律以全外語教學，讓學生在語言環境中由淺入深逐步打好語言聽、說、讀、寫、譯之基礎。除專業教師認真教學外，本校所有教室均裝設多媒體教學設備，提供老師以多元方式授課。

Ever since the founding of the university , the most distinctive feature of our educational approach is that all of the offered language courses are conducted entirely in the target language. This method allows students to gradually lay a solid foundation for language skills—listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation— all within a language immersion environment. In addition to dedicated professional instructors, all classrooms at our school are equipped with multimedia teaching facilities, enabling teachers to deliver lessons in diverse ways.

Full Scholarships	Full tuition and fee waiver, including a free Mandarin Chinese course for the first year of enrollment. Eligible students may apply to renew this scholarship.
Partial Scholarships	Half tuition and fee waiver, including a free Mandarin Chinese course for the first year of enrollment. Eligible students may apply to renew this scholarship.
Full Scholarships	Full tuition and fee waiver, on-campus accommodation, and a monthly NT$10,000 meal coupon, including a free Mandarin Chinese course for the first year of enrollment. Eligible students may apply to renew this scholarship. (for overseas Ursuline high school students only)

Financial proof (USD$3,500)

文件要求：
1. 銀行提供之正式文件，需足以支付外籍生在台學習費用。
2. 提供全額獎學金或援助之政府、高等教育機構或民間組織提供之聲明。
*備註：印尼申請者在申請簽證時需提供 5,000 美元之財力證明或提供政府、高等教育機構或民間組織獎學金文件。

Requirements:
a. Officially offered by a bank to support an international student's study in Taiwan.
b. A statement offered by a government, institution of higher learning or civic organization providing full scholarship or aid.
*Remarks: For Indonesian applicants, please provide the financial proof of USD 5,000 or the scholarship document from a government, institution of higher learning or civic organization when applying for visa.

英語授課系所：CEFR B1以上

Programs conducted in English:CEFR B1 or above.

中文授課系所：TOCFL A2以上

Programs conducted in Chinese: A2 level or above.
