華語學院整合全校「華語學術」之能量，結合本校多國語教學之利基，搶佔全球歐、美、亞的華語版圖。除了本校在美國德州聖湯瑪斯大學（University of St. Thomas）、南伊利諾大學（Southern Illinois University）、紐約市立大學亨特學院（Hunter College, the City University of New York）等地建立據點外，本校結合語言及人文數位優勢組成華語團隊，以華語推廣為院級重點方向，藉由學院師生之力量，開拓華語的美、歐及亞洲市場。

本學院擁有優秀的華語學術及教學師資，落實完整的華語人才培育。華語學院除了有應用華語文系（碩士班）做為人才培育的場域外，更有兩個華語教學專業學分學程，提供專業的教學能力培養，建立全方位的華語人才培育機制。

本學院轄下的華語中心，更是歷久彌新，發揮了文藻國際化多年的效益，在全國有著非常重要的聲譽與績效，更是教育部華師外派的翹楚，每年為臺灣培育最多數的國際英才，堪稱是本校國際華語專案的培育搖籃。

本學院更創設線上華語教學中心，進行全線上之華語師資培訓與認證；除一般華語課程外，更延伸至商用華語、兒幼華語，且致力於上述多元華語教材之開發。近年來更協助僑委會世界各據點及華語文學習中心，在美洲、歐洲、澳洲及亞洲建立「無界線、全方位」的臺灣華語品牌。

本學院及所屬單位亦承接各項計畫，如臺灣優華語計畫（第1期至今）、美國國務院高中生獎學金計畫（NSLI-Y）及美國國防部華語學習專案計畫（Project Go）、國際扶輪社華語計畫與多國的華語學習團，績效勝居全國。

The College of Mandarin integrates the entire university's "Chinese academic resources" and leverages the university's advantage in multilingual education to capture the global Chinese language market in Europe, America, and Asia. In addition to establishing bases at the University of St. Thomas in Texas, USA, Southern Illinois University, and Hunter College, the City University of New York, the university has assembled a Chinese language team that combines its strengths in language and digital humanities. The promotion of the Chinese language is a key focus area at the college level, and through the concerted efforts of the college's faculty and students, it aims to expand the Chinese language market in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The college boasts outstanding faculty in Chinese language academics and pedagogy, thereby ensuring the complete cultivation of Chinese language professionals. Beyond the Department of Applied Chinese (Master's Program) as the venue for talent cultivation, the College of Mandarin also offers two professional credit programs in Chinese language teaching, providing specialized teaching skills development and establishing a comprehensive mechanism for nurturing Chinese language professionals.

The Chinese Language Center under the college has stood the test of time, effectively demonstrating the benefits of Wenzao's many years of internationalization. It enjoys a significant reputation and outstanding performance nationwide and is a leader in dispatching Chinese language teachers overseas for the Ministry of Education. It cultivates the largest number of international talents for Taiwan annually, making it the cradle of the university’s international Chinese language projects.

The college has also established an Online Chinese Language Teaching Center for fully online Chinese language teacher training and certification. In addition to general Chinese courses, it extends to Business Chinese and Chinese for Children and Early Learners and is dedicated to the development of diverse Chinese language teaching materials in these areas. In recent years, it has further assisted various locations and Chinese Language Learning Centers of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) in establishing a "borderless, all-encompassing" Taiwanese Chinese language brand across the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

The college and its affiliated units also undertake various projects, such as the Taiwan-US Higher Education Initiative (Phase 1 to present), the US Department of State National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) High School Scholarship Program, the US Department of Defense Project GO, the Rotary International Chinese Language Program, and numerous international Chinese language study groups, consistently achieving the best performance nationwide.

文藻應用華語文系為臺灣知名的華語學系，也是世界上頂尖的華語教育機構之一，有許多國際合作案，接受美國國務院與國防部的獎學金生來校學習華語與中華文化。本校具有臺灣一流外語大學的優勢，本專班除了華語語文、文化與專業課程之外，也設有按程度分班的專業英語課程，強化畢業生的語言競爭力。

本專班的師資以博士為主，培育富有實務能力之外籍華語人才，除了優秀的華語文聽說讀寫能力及中華文化素養之外，也具有國際與東南亞經濟、管理、翻譯、旅遊與行政等領域之應用能力，培育能在職場流利運用華語進行有效溝通與具有決策能力的精英。

本班畢業生就業之方向為政府機構專員、中文翻譯人員、機場地勤人員、空服員、導遊、領隊、公關人員、華語教師、商務代表、華語文補習教育教師、語言學習顧問、中文秘書、軟體中文專案人員、文化藝術事業人員等。

The Department of Applied Chinese at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages is one of the most renowned Chinese language departments in Taiwan and among the leading Chinese language education institutions worldwide. It engages in numerous international collaborations and hosts scholarship students sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense to study Chinese and Chinese culture.

With the advantages of being part of Taiwan's top foreign language university, this program not only offers Chinese language, culture, and professional courses but also provides English classes at different proficiency levels to strengthen graduates'language competitiveness.

The faculty of this program consists primarily of Ph.D. holders, dedicated to cultivating foreign professionals with strong practical skills in Chinese language education. Graduates are expected to possess outstanding listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Chinese, a solid foundation in Chinese culture, as well as applied expertise in fields such as international and Southeast Asian economics, management, translation, tourism, and administration. They will be well-prepared to communicate effectively in Chinese and demonstrate decision-making abilities in the workplace.

Career paths for graduates include positions such as government officers, Chinese translators, airport ground staff, flight attendants, tour guides, tour leaders, public relations specialists, Chinese language teachers, business representatives, Chinese language tutors in cram schools, language learning consultants, Chinese secretaries, software localization pecialists, as well as professionals in cultural and artistic industries.

「國際企業與智慧管理外國學生一般專班」為本校新媒體暨管理學院設立，提供外籍學生就讀之學士課程，經教育部核可後於2024年招生。新媒體暨管理學院為文藻外語大學之實務型學院，基於理論及技術，強調就業實作，在全球新媒體發展趨勢下結合管理基礎與行銷專業，培育具國際觀之管理與創意人才，強調溝通能力與就業競爭力。本專班以華語為平台，以管理專業為基礎，以新媒體為工具，創造網路無邊際世代的企業菁英。

新媒體暨管理學院設有國際企業管理系、數位內容應用與管理系及傳播藝術系，奠基於國際視野，整合企業管理、數位科技及傳播藝術專業，迎合時代潮流需求，從事未來人才發展培育工作。教師具有豐富的理論基礎與業界實務經驗，教學上採理論與實務並重之策略，畢業生極受企業肯定與青睞，教學品質亦通過台灣評鑑協會認可，為高品質之卓越學院；院內教師與企業頻繁進行產學合作，數額龐大，與實務並肩發展。

學院設備齊全，設有國際商務金融財經教室、國際經貿專業教室、專業攝影棚、錄音室、影像動畫捕捉實驗室、動畫建模製作教室及高端電腦教室等，並有完善之器材設備借用制度，滿足學生實作需求。歷年來本院學生獲得眾多校外競賽全國首獎，包含行銷、證券投資、策略規劃、資訊運用、多媒體設計、美術類等，表現傑出。

The International Program of International Business and Intelligent Management is approved by the Ministry of Education and established by the College of New Media and Management, providing a bachelor's degree program for foreign students to enroll in 2024. The College of New Media and Management is a practical orientated college of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages. We are founded on both theory and practice, with a strong emphasis on employability and hands-on experience. In response to global new media trends, we integrate management fundamentals with marketing expertise to cultivate internationally minded professionals in management and creativity. Our program highlights communication skills and career competitiveness. Using Mandarin as the primary language of instruction, management as the foundation, and new media as a tool, we aim to develop business elites for the borderless digital generation.

The College of New Media and Management offers programs in International Business Management, Digital Content Application and Management, and Communication Arts. Building on a foundation of global vision, the College integrates expertise in business management, digital technology, and communication arts to meet the evolving demands of the times and cultivate future talent. Our faculty members possess both strong theoretical foundations and extensive industry experience. The teaching approach emphasizes a balance between theory and practice, and our graduates are highly recognized and sought after by employers. The College's teaching quality has also been accredited by the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association, affirming its status as a high-quality, distinguished institution.

Moreover, faculty members actively engage in numerous industry-academia collaborations, fostering strong partnerships that bridge academic knowledge with real-world practice. The College is well-equipped with specialized classrooms for international business, finance, international economics, and trade, as well as professional photo studios, recording studios, image and animation capture laboratories, animation modeling and production rooms, and advanced computer labs. It also features a comprehensive equipment lending system to support students'practical needs. Over the years, our students have achieved outstanding results, winning first prizes in many off-campus competitions in areas such as marketing, securities investment, strategic planning, information applications, multimedia design, and the arts.

Curriculum and career development

「國際企業與智慧管理外國學生一般專班」課程分為四個構面：華語、管理、多媒體及實習，共128學分，以華語進行授課。學生於大一時需修習華語課程（必修14、選修12學分），並於第一個學期結束時通過華語測驗A2，方得繼續修習後續課程。大一下學期、大二及大三以管理（必修34、選修27學分）及智慧科技（必修10、選修27學分）為重點，建構扎實專業基礎，並於第四年進行企業實習3 （選修18學分），提升實務經驗，為邁入職場做好準備。詳細課程內容可參考官網。

學生可在本專班課程中獲得四項職場競爭能力：

1. 華語溝通能力：可與全世界華人進行溝通，創造多元商機。
2. 企業管理能力：具備優秀管理能力，投入商業活動，成為國際企業菁英經理人。
3. 智慧工具運用：具備運用人工智慧（AI）工具協助管理進行之能力，提升管理效能。
4. 行銷與多媒體運用能力：擁有行銷專業，可搭配多媒體製作與運用能力，進行全球性行銷活動，掌握世界脈動、擁抱國際市場、傲視全球。

The International Program of International Business and Intelligent Management contains four well-designed curriculums: Chinese, management, multimedia and internship, with a total of 128 credits, and is taught in Chinese. Students are required to take Chinese courses (14 required and 12 elective credits) during their freshman year and pass the Chinese language test A2 at the end of the first semester before they can continue to take subsequent courses. The second and third years focus on management and multimedia content (34 required credits, 27 elective credits), and Intelligent Technology (10 required credits, 27 elective credits) to build a solid professional foundation. In the fourth year, a corporate internship (18 elective credits) is conducted to enhance practical experience and prepare for the workplace. Students can acquire four key competencies in this international program:

1. Chinese communication skills: Enabling communication with Chinese speakers worldwide and creating diverse business opportunities.
2. Enterprise management skills: Possessing excellent management abilities to engage in commercial activities and become elite international business managers.
3. Application of intelligent tools: Skilled in utilizing AI tools to assist in management, enhancing management efficiency.
4. Marketing and multimedia application skills: Equipped with marketing expertise and the ability to create and utilize multimedia for global marketing campaigns, enabling them to grasp global trends, embrace the international market, and stand out on the world stage.
