I first found Wenzao as an exchange student and came to fall in love with the small but vibrant campus life. As an international student I was assigned a study buddy, and before even the first day was over I had done and been shown so many things I didn't even know existed. Even if travelling all the way to Taiwan at first was daunting, I immediately felt welcome, and the rigorous Chinese classes helped me to rapidly improve my language skills. After graduating, however, I decided to come back to Wenzao to pursue a Master's. To me, Wenzao was the place where I could live on the other side of the world, but still feel at home.
